Such a great ice cream Parlor at this perfect oasis of fun and delicious food Paradise Ice Cream Parlor and Captain's Corner at Smithville Lake. Lovely family that owns these establishments. Great food, great ice cream treats and they treat everybody like family. Just a short drive north of KC at Smithville Lake. Perfect drive in the country for breakfast or lunch followed by ice cream and treats

My family stopped by this cute ice cream parlor and absolutely loved it! It's close to Smithville Lake and has an awesome, retro vibe to it. The inside was clean, the service was great and the ice cream was delicious! 10/10 recommend. Also, there are some cute chairs that make for perfect photo ops. (A booth that looks like the back seat of a car, a bench that looks like an ice cream Sunday and a GIANT chair on the edge of the little plaza).

Great hidden gem. It was about an hour before the place was open. The owner was cooking at Captains Corner but decided to let me and my wife in so we could get Ice Cream. Great friendly place and great thick and rich Ice Cream

The most perfect hidden gem of Smithville Lake. The retro vibes matched with the vast array of ice cream variations made for such a fun date night. We galavanted here without kids to check for DF options and were happy to see they do in fact offer oat milk options! We will definitely be bringing our family back for more ice cream dates!

Super cute fun place to get icecream. The atmosphere was the cherry on top. Great music that set the stage even more We ordered a single scoop cone and a rootbeer float. Absolutely love it here and will be back again!

Delightful! Don't stop in Paradise without getting some of the best Ice cream from some of the nicest people. Flavors were awesome and the servings sinful and very reasonable prices. Quaint 50's style shoppe with a curio and souvenir shop next door. Just across the street from Captains Corner.

We walked over after dinner at Captain’s Corner and stumbled upon this cute little ice cream shop—what a treat! The ice cream was delicious, with plenty of flavor options and generous portions. But the best part? As a little girl, I always dreamed of being Barbie—and this place made that dream come true! Such a fun, whimsical vibe that brought out my inner child. A perfect way to end the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

The ice cream here is delicious. Maybe the best I've ever had. My husband and I LOVE the Missouri pot hole flavor the best. And the kids love the decor and sitting in the booth that looks like a retro car. Also go across the street and get a burger and fries from the captains corner before you head here for ice cream!
